It is my sincere desire to reach out to those who are hurting. Those who have gone through things that "satan would use to destroy us". However, these are the very things that God can bring a true healing to... and give us the joy of life that he intended us to have from the beginning.
The Bible clearly states in: John 10:10 The thief (or satan) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Please pray with me that God would use this site for just this reason. I do not claim to "have all the answers" or be an "eloquent writer" however, I have a heart for the hurting. I won't even say that I have been in your shoes... but I have been in my own and I know what deep hurt and depression can do. Now... not every day is a perfect one for me... I'm human and I still have struggles at times. I can assure you however, that I do not sit for hours and cry any longer... I do not dwell on my past 24/7... and I do not wish my life to end.
Now each day begins with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He alone knows what
I need for that specific day and His mercy and grace abide daily within me.
I want to encourage you to know that you do not have to live every day for the rest of your life in a deep depression. Jesus is the true source of life and He alone can give you the abundant and joy filled life He intended you to have.
Dear Lord Jesus, Please be with the person who has had deep hurts in their lives... even now... touch them with your mercies that are new every morning. Give them
hope in knowing that they too can be freed from the clutches of satan. Amen!
