and whose hope the Lord is.
JEREMIAH 17:7
TURN YOUR WORRY INTO FAITH
God's Word tells us not to worry. You try to stop worrying, but you keep thinking about it. Someone will say worry is a sin; you don't have any faith. Then you become more worried.
Before, you just worried about your family, sickness, finances, and now you're concerned if you're still a Christian if Jesus loves you, and if you're going to hell. How do you stop worrying? If the problem causes you to worry, what is the antidote?
THE ANSWER TO WORRY
The antidote is the answer. Refrain from dwelling on the problem; instead, stay on the solution. You have to choose to stop thinking about those things that take away your peace and joy.
Start dwelling on the answer that gives you peace and joy; on the good news, the Word, the Good Shepherd Jesus Christ, who you have accepted as your personal Savior and Lord. He is in charge of your life now and loves you.
READ AND LEARN GOD'S WORD
You can start by reading The Bible whenever you're getting caught up in worry. Let that be your cue to get into God's Holy Word, The Bible! Trust in His joy, faithfulness, and love.
"Let your mind dwell on these things, and the peace of God will guard your heart and mind and take away your worry."
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, THINK on these things.
PHILLIPPIANS 4:8
JUST FOR TODAY: Allow God to do the heavy lifting and let God take the burden from you so that you can dwell on His peace; Jesus Christ is the answer!
