Bocha Hussein Family
National Missionaries to Orma, Kenya
Because Missionaries and Christians are subject to harassment,
violent attacks and other forms of persecution I will be blurring
their faces on the photo and I will not be giving their true names.
The couple below are devoted to spreading the Gospel of Jesus
Christ to the Muslim people in Orma, Kenya.
They both travel to villages teaching & encouraging the Muslim
people who have converted to Christianity. The need is great and
the laborers are few.
Then saith Jesus unto his disciples,
"The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye
therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers
into his harvest."
Matthew 9:37-38
Let me tell you a little about Bocha and his lovely wife Hadija Boru. They come from a Muslim background and they have both converted to Christianity, because someone took the time to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them.
Bocha went to Bible School through IPHC and when he finished, he earnestly prayed for God to show him, where he should take his ministry. God told him to go back to his community, because the Orma people are 99% Muslim and need our Lord and Savior!
Love is evident in Bocha and his wife as they go to the villages to make friends, share the love of Jesus and encourage the people to grow in their faith. Orma is a marbleized community so teaching them the Word of God is necessary for new converts to be totally secure in the Lord.
By training new converts to fully surrender themselves to God, they make a commitment to also depend on Him for everything they need. Their growth in Christ is essential in order to stand on their own when times of persecution and difficulties come.
Sadly, many new Christians are not only victimized by Muslims, their very own families will reject them simply for their belief and faith in their Savior, Jesus Christ. Recognizing and mindful of the difficulties the converts may face, Bocha helps them by planting and building churches in order for the people to learn to trust God more each day to fully take care of them.

Christian converts from Islam are subject to harassment, violent attacks and other forms of persecution. Somali Islamic militants are committing acts of violence within Kenya’s borders at an increasing rate. Terrorists have attacked several churches and killed pastors and other Christians, including children.
Overview: The Orma of Kenya, numbering 84,000, are Engaged yet many are unreached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They are part of the Oromo people cluster within the "Horn of Africa" affinity bloc. This people group is only found in Kenya. Their primary language is Orma - (orc) and their primary religion practiced by the Orma is Islam, a monotheistic religion built around the teachings of the Qur'an and of the prophet Muhammad.
