ARE YOUR SAILS SET ON JESUS?
...Ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price:
therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit,
which are God's.

THE LITTLE RED SAILBOAT
There’s a familiar story about the little fellow who lost a little red sailboat he had made. It sailed away from him across the pond. Later, he saw it in the second-hand store, and the proprietor made him purchase it.
He bought it, and as he carried the little sailboat out of that second-hand store, he hugged it to his chest and said, “Little sailboat, you’re mine.
You’re twice mine. You’re mine because I made you, and you’re mine because I bought you back.
WE ALSO ARE GODS TWICE
Not only did God create us, but He also redeemed you and me.
God purchased us with His blood.
And God says, “Christian, you are mine; you are twice mine." You’re mine because I created and purchased you with the blood of my Son, Jesus Christ.
HAVE YOU BEEN REDEEMED
Very often at sports events, we will see this scripture verse;
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
JOHN 3:16
I'm sure many of you have seen this verse, but do you know the true meaning of it? Or is it just a symbol someone displayed?
SO, WHY JOHN 3:16
This verse tells us that God expressed His love for the world in this way: He gave His only Son so that whoever believes in Him will not face never-ending devastation but will have eternal life.
Here's the point: God didn't send His Son into the world to condemn or convict us; instead, Jesus is here to rescue and redeem people headed toward absolute destruction.
WHY WE NEED THE LORD
If we accept Jesus into our lives and believe in Him, there is no condemnation; yet condemnation is already the reality for everyone who refuses to believe. Instead, they reject the name of the only Son of God.
In this verse, God says to "us," his creations, that he loves us and sent his only son, Jesus, to die for our sins. When we turn our lives over to Jesus, death is defeated! And, in dying to ourselves, we will have eternal life with him.
MY PRAYER TODAY
Dear Lord Jesus, Someone needs to set their eyes on you today!
They must know you will give them abundant and eternal life if they are determined to live for you! I pray that your Holy Spirit will speak to their hearts and accept you today as
Lord and Savior.
Amen.
