shall stand in his holy place?
PSALM 24:3
One of the major stumbling blocks for unbelievers is the truth that Jesus Christ is the only way to God.
So, why does God not accept the worship of a Buddhist? Why does God determine who can and who cannot approach Him?
These questions are not new. In fact, David asked and answered them about three million years ago.
Using the geographical features of Jerusalem and the Tabernacle that represented God's presence, David asks: "Who can enter and remain in the Lord's presence?"
To begin with, God has the authority to make such determinations because He created the world. And He has determined that only those who have been cleansed can approach Him. They also receive justice from the God of their Salvation.
Only those with pure hands and hearts, who do not practice dishonesty and lying. They will receive God's own goodness as their blessing from him, planted in their lives by God himself, their Savior.
PSALM 24:4,5
My friends, you can ascend to God's presence and remain there! God Himself has cleansed you and given you His righteousness in Christ Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
But after that the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
TITUS 3:4-7
What should you do? What will you do??
Burst into praises and exaltation to God for this wonderful gift!
You belong to the select group of those who can live in the very presence of God.
