HARD TIMES COME TO EVERYONE
Expressing "gratitude, appreciation and thanks" is not always easy; you may have just lost your business... you may not have the money to pay your debts... perhaps your marriage is on the rocks... or maybe you have experienced the loss of a loved one. These are not simple or pleasant events to get through and the prospect of offering gratefulness just doesn't seem to "fit the bill" for joy or peace!
Still, genuine praise is a worthy sacrifice; that honors the Lord Jesus Christ. When we walk in His paths -- Jesus will walk alongside us and we will receive all that we need in Him.
HONORING CHRIST
It is our "Praising Heart" that honors Christ and if we can keep our emotions "out of the way" and hold to the FACTS, God will carry us through. He desires one hundred percent of us... one hundred percent of the time!
There will be occasions when "Gratitude is a Sacrifice!" The tears may ebb... and the pain will be authentic and genuine, but ponder the joy in Christ's heart when we still look to Him amid our heartaches.
TRUST IS A MUST
At times like this our "Trusting in God" is exhibited and verified... it becomes undoubtedly obvious and evident. Note: I did not state it would be easy... yet, it does show the Lord that we are believing Him to walk with us... carry us and bring us directly to inner peace and joy in Him! And, regardless of how we may feel, Jesus will never forsake us!
We need to control our thoughts... and keep our eyes focused on Jesus... He alone knows the depths of our despondency and discouragement. We may not understand the why; still, that is where our faith, hope, and trust comes in to play!
WHATEVER YOU MAY BE FACING
Despite everything you may be up against, there is JOY to be discovered in our Savior when we place our focus on Him and not on our circumstances! There is always "gratitude that can be found in Jesus," especially when we honestly know how much He cherishes and cares for us!
WORKING ALL THINGS OUT FOR OUR GOOD
It is in our struggles, in our weakness, in our darkest moments, that we grow most in Christ Jesus. Despite your hardships, allow God to use them as a training ground for building your faith and drawing Him closer to you!
He will work ALL things out for our good and although we can't see it... we need to train ourselves to "KNOW THAT HE CARES FOR US!" And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called
according to his purpose.

GLORIFYING THE LORD OUR GOD
A sacrifice of thanksgiving and appreciation will flood our hearts and souls with inner peace and bring honor and glory to our Lord. He will use our thanks for His glorification and our absolute good!
