If you read a few verses above Luke 1:38, you will find in Luke 1:36,37 that Mary's cousin Elizabeth... who was called barren, in her old age: had also conceived a son.
Walking with God is knowing and believing that God and His Holy Word are one in the same! His Word states; In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1
When something in our lives... is beyond what we can do... we can turn to God because He is a God of Miracles and nothing is impossible with Him! His Word says: But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, "With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible". Matthew 19:26
If you have lost faith for "your miracle" I truly hope you will not surrender and give up. Also, please be careful and be alert so that you do not stay "locked up" in your despair or sorrow... because that is what Satan would have you do.
If Mary was bewildered at first, it soon became clear to her... and she accepted what the Lord was doing in her life. She could have been caught up in the anxiety and fear of being stoned to death because she was a virgin and now would be pregnant. See (Deuteronomy 22:20-21) Still, Mary trusted her Lord and was able to face her family and Joseph.
Like Mary we need to say, "Be it unto me according to your word" and then allow the Holy Spirit to work within our lives the perfect will and plan of God. Doctors can't explain why I can walk and talk with such a low heart rate and blood pressure... they don't understand "I walk according to God's Word and His Will"!!
If you need someone to stand with you... I will! I will say, Lord Jesus, "Be it unto my friend...according to your Word and your perfect Will!" We all need one another for encouragement, to pray with... and to love each other as God has loved us!
Friends, "When God steps in... Miracles Happen"!!
