Yet He Was WITHOUT Sin! For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. HEBREWS 4:15-16
A COMPASSIONATE HIGH PRIEST
There is a great hope and consolation in Jesus Christ. As our Great High Priest, He sits at the right hand of the Father. There He brings our every need before the Father to present them on our behalf.
He has opened access to the presence of the Father by presenting Himself as an acceptable sacrifice on our behalf. The shedding of His pure and innocent blood provided full cleansing and forgiveness for all of our sins.
He also sends forth the provisions of God for us through the intercession and provision of the Holy Spirit. He works in our lives to transform everything before us into God's good purposes for and through our lives. He intimately understands every aspect of our lives and every need that we have.
So the Word of God extends an invitation to whosoever will respond. Come with confidence in the Lord Jesus Christ before the very throne room of God Himself. Present yourself through the blood of Jesus Christ. Receive freely from God, His mercy and grace that will help you in every circumstance of life.
HE IS OUR GREAT HIGH PRIEST
Thank you Dear Lord for genuinely loving and understanding us. Than you for coming to this world, dying for our sins, being buried, and rising again to give us the promise eternal life.
We also Thank You for the privilege to come boldly before the throne room of mercy and grace, that we may give you praises, our gratitude and lay ALL our concerns and petitions at Your feet!
You absolutely are a personal and awesome God. May we glorify You today and everyday. And no matter what today may bring, help us to shine our light brightly for those who need Your forgiveness and love! Amen.
