Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the Kingdom of God,
and to heal the sick.

JUST ONE DAY
Think about it: what if, for the next twenty-four hours, God gave you the same power that He gave these twelve disciples here in LUKE 9? What would you do with it?
HOW WOULD YOU SPEND IT
Would you drive like mad from hospital to hospital curing all those dying in emergency rooms? Would you heal your family members, your friends, your neighbors, your co-workers, and your fellow church members?
GOD GIVEN AUTHORITY
And what would you do with your authority over demons? Would you drive to D.C. and exorcise those demonic forces infiltrating our political systems??
Or would you visit places like Hollywood studios State universities, or the headquarters for major news outlets? Truly, even if we had an entire day to heal diseases and cast out demons, we'd barely scratch the surface, wouldn't we?
A PROMISE FROM GOD
But my Christian friends, you've been given the promise of eternal Salvation through Jesus Christ--a salvation from sin, from sickness, and from Satan--which is the greatest gift you could ever receive.
THOUGHT FOR TODAY: So will you share Jesus Christ with others today??
