MARK 12:30,31
Some people who keep little statues of saints in their cars. But there's another kind of car saint.
Imagine you're in your car, late for work, and the vehicle ahead of you is going 20 miles per hour. You can't pass, you're anxious and upset, and you start developing intense hatred for the person in front of you.
You have no peace, no love, and no joy. Nothing good is coming out of your mouth.
What's the problem?
The problem is that your goal is to get to work. It would be best if you remembered the fundamental and central purpose.
The main objective is 'Love God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself.'
And there is another goal; perhaps God is slowing you down for reasons only He knows. There may be an accident if you go too fast, or someone along the way may need your help.
You man never know 'why,' but slow down.
If you put God first, that slow car could never have hindered your goal. Stay at peace. If you love the person ahead of you and rejoice in God, you've grown and take a step
toward sainthood.
Seek not to get ahead, but seek to be a saint. You need a saint in your car, but it has to be you--not a statue!
Remember if God is leading you, you'll get to your destination!
TODAY: Focus on your objective and central goal - rejoice, love, have peace and have joy - live the life of a Believer, a saint!
