Proverbs 3:5-6

Morgan Uceny reacts after a fall in the women's 1500-meter final.
It was the final lap and Morgan, was just beginning to make her move in the pack, when it happened. She tumbled to the track, smacked it with her hands and just stayed there while the race went on.
As Morgan, knelt on the track, her hands holding her head down, she sobbed, until way after the race was finally over. Half a lifetime of preparation, sponsor's support and her dreams of winning, all of it was shattered in an instant.
To add insult to injury, this was not Morgan's first fall. The 27 year old, also fell in the last 2011's world championships in Daegu, South Korea. Yet she had such a strong resume, that she was ranked number 1, in the world in 2011.
So, if she had known that this was going to be her fate, do you think she would have spent half her life in training? Would she have stopped dreaming of the win and the gold medal?
If we are honest with ourselves, there have been times when we have asked, "Where is God?" Times in our lives, when God seemed so far away. Our prayers have gone unanswered and God just seems to be silent!
Being human, we are prone towards and want to know, exactly what God is going to do in any given situation. We are a curious people, still there are some things, better left unknown. Can you imagine the fear we would incur, if we knew everything that was ever going to happen to us?
Our lives must be founded on trust and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ! Trusting God from the bottom of our hearts and with everything we have. Not trying to figure everything out on our own.
We must always be listening for that still, small voice, if we want to stay on track. We must never assume we know everything, because the reality is, we know nothing about what is going to happen tomorrow, or the next day.
Honor God in every thing, give Him your first and your best! Accept His discipline as from a loving father, who only wants the best for his child. When we have faith and trust in God, our journey may have difficulties, but we will be equipped to handle all of them.
"Our trust is the Road to Faith... and Our Faith is the bridge... between where we are and where God is taking us!
