Have you ever made tea? You put the tea bag into the hot water, let it sit awhile, and then stir it - it takes time for a good cup of tea!
But believers often treat God like they treat fast food; they partake of Him while on the run. Doing that is like putting the tea bag in the water and then taking it right out.
And then we complain that there isn't any "flavor or taste" in our tea. But God's love is not fast food. His love is more
like tea.
We are the water, and His love, truth, and presence are in the tea bag. It's not a quick fix; it's not fast food. It's like tea - you have to let it soak in. You also have to spend time in God's presence.
Let His presence dwell in your life but remain in your life. Let
God's peace, love, joy, and purity penetrate your life and heart.
The love, the Word, and the presence of God are so good, it just needs time to soak in, and you need time to soak it up!!
TODAY: Why not sit still and allow God's Word to penetrate your inner being? Give it time. Let it soak in.
