I have loved America and I have loved living in these United States. However, my first love is towards God and His son Jesus Christ.
As a child, I was taught that we were a Biblical Nation from our very roots, shaped by Judeo-Christian ethics founded firmly in The Bible.
This idea does not mean that everyone who lives in these United States is a Christian. However, it does mean that the wondrous majority of our Founding Fathers and their influence was established in Christian Theology, Founding Documents and Strong Moral Ethics. Yes, I was born into a nation that was
conceived by Christianity!
In 1504 Christopher Columbus wrote his reason for setting out to discover a new land and why it would be. His words, “I was led by the Holy Spirit to carry the message of the Gospel to undiscovered lands.”
The Pilgrims came to America to establish a “Political Commonwealth that would be governed by Biblical Standards!” The “Mayflower Compact” stated that they had come for “the Glory of God and the Advancement of the Christian Faith!”
However, as our great nation grew in number and wealth, Christianity was in decline. People became self-centered and self-supportive with no need to acknowledge our history or our God!
The landslide of immorality, sinful living and depravity have grown rampant and commonplace. Sexual lust has filled our nation with those who refuse to acknowledge their sin. Christians are now told that our beliefs are intolerant, homophobic and hateful.
History tells us that ALL governments, empires and kingdoms, no matter how powerful or grand, they will ultimately fall when sin, immorality and debauchery rules the land. Governments like, ancient Egypt, Assyria and Babylon. Even Rome was not exempt; though it dominated much of Europe, N. Africa, and the Middle East. Although Rome lasted for 500 years, the Roman Empire ultimately fell.
While Rome wasn’t built in a day, neither did it fall in one day, but it did fall!
Sadly, on June 26, 2015, our United States of America was given the same death sentence as the other countries listed above. A landmark ruling by our United States Supreme Court, decreed same sex marriage was now the law of the land and it was legal in ALL United States.
Our nation will repeat history and it will eventually fall! Our only hope is in the one, true God, who sent His only son to die for ALL sin. We can read about this HOPE in God’s Word and we can take solace in the scriptures!
I’m not sure if it’s too late for America, but I do know it’s time to Sound the ALARM Christians!! It is TIME to PRAY!!
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, impacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. Romans 1:26-32

- Non-Christians or Sinners: Those who do not live their lives by God's Word, but by their own selfish lusts.
- Christians Saved by God's Grace: Those who have repented of their sins, they have asked God to forgive them and to cleanse them with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, of which I am one.
