2 CORINTHIANS 3:18
COME LIKE A ENTHUSIASTIC HEBREW BRIDE
On the day of the Hebrew wedding the bridegroom would come to the house of the bride to take her to her new home with him.
The bride would then approach the groom with a veil over her face, but when she met him she would remove it and the two would stand there face to face.
WE ARE THE BRIDE OF CHRIST
God and us, the Bridegroom and the bride, standing face to face. That is what salvation is all about, for God has removed His veil. He's revealed Himself to us. In order for us to have a face to face relationship with Him we must remove our veil.
THE BLESSING IS IMMINENT
The blessings will come when the bride removes her veil, just as we will be blessed when we remove the veil that covers us.
We must let Christ see the "real us!" Our real wounds, real scars, real blemishes, and very real sins.
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
EPHESIANS 5:27
The bride of God will be presented without blemish or spot, so we must remove our veils to see Him "Face to Face!" And, oh what a day that will be, completely unveiled, completely loved and completely whole before our God!
TODAY'S TASK
Come before God completely honest and unveiled. Bring your entire self to Him, your hurts, wounds, secrets, shame, fears and the weaknesses you have covered up for far to long.
Let God touch them and free you from them all!
