TIME WITH DAD
This little girl enjoyed her Saturday adventures with her dad. They would go to the park, build a tree-house, ride their bikes and just have a fun filled day doing all kinds of things.
One such morning, they decided to go on a hike. They climbed hills, laughed as they stepped from rock to rock and soon they found themselves crossing a river on a tree that had fallen.
As the little girl and her father were crossing the waters, the father was a little afraid that his daughter might fall into them. So he asked his little girl, "Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river."
SECURE WITH DAD
The little girl said, "No, Dad. You hold my hand." Her puzzled father asked, "What's the difference?" The little girl replied,
"There's a big difference! If I hold your hand and something
happens to me, chances are that I may let go. But, If
you hold my hand, I KNOW for sure that no matter
what happens, your hand will never let my hand go!
TIME WITH OUR HEAVENLY FATHER
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
ISAIAH 43:2
Life can be difficult, even brutal at times. Trials, afflictions, and worries can crowd your mind and steal your peace. During these times -- there is one thing that you can be confident
in -- "the Lord your God is with you!"
GOD WILL HOLD TIGHT TO YOUR HAND
And, if Jesus is holding your hand -- He will not let go! For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. Isaiah 41:13
You can count on it! No matter the circumstances that surround you -- God will not forsake you!! He will not leave
you alone in the midst of the battle, He will be right
there with you. Be assured that Jesus has a
firm grip on you!
And, if Jesus is holding your hand -- He will not let go!
