They say sheep are dumb, but sheep will never attempt to play with or tease a wolf, it knows you can't play with the enemy, nor is it wise to provoke your adversary and not suffer the consequences.
Our Lord warned his disciples to prepare for persecution to avoid anything that would give an advantage to their enemies, there could be no interference with worldly concerns or even the appearance of selfishness and evil at all measures. Christ foretold troubles, so that the troubles would not be a surprise, to His disciples, but that they might "affirm and bring to light their faith!"
That said, I am not here to judge or step on someone's toes, however, I feel led by the Lord to say, "Stay Alert" the enemy is at hand. "We all need to beware" of the things that we welcome into our lives and even embrace as so-called harmless fun... palm reading, psychic hotlines, sexual immorality, greed, gossip, drunkenness, idolatry, atrocious and unacceptable movies! We also need to beware of what we allow into our children's minds as well... we tend to think it's cute and fun to dress up our kids as ghosts, mummies and witches.
Be on the look out... we all need to be aware of what we are allowing into our minds, since once it's seen or heard... it can't be deleted and the devil has sly ways of bringing repulsive thoughts and pictures back into our minds!
And, then there are those video games where kids become addicted and most of their time is playing evil games such as:
1. JFK: Reloaded 2. Ghetto Blaster & 3. V-Tech Rampage to name just a very few.
Finally, All I will say is, "beware of what you see on TV" it may sound silly to some of you, but the devil will use anything he has to bring evil, hideous thoughts, immoral and shameless pictures, and pure hateful, destructive shows with hidden agendas. Some of the commercials alone bring deadly and visual sights and thoughts!
My, friends, the devil has one goal, he wants to take as many of us as he can to hell... Look at the Word of God: The Thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10
Be wise, stay "on guard" for we truly are "sheep in the midst of a wolf pack," we must learn to be to be as cunning and clever as a snake, while still maintaining that inoffensive, gentleness of a dove! All Christians, whether they are pastors, elders, leaders, teachers, parents, laymen...etc., need to: "STAND GUARD ON THE WALL!!! AND, STAY ALERT"!!
