My ways are not your ways. Again, given the opportunity, the Lord is showing you a path you would have shunned, given the opportunity.
And Why?
He leads us along the road of love--of giving. This road is not a thoroughfare, nor a way generally known, even among seasoned travelers.
However, today Jesus wants you to see purpose as He sees purpose. Significance is not attached to being seen. In His Kingdom, significance is the outcome of being sent.
Your work is not in vain. What you call a waste of time on this mission, Jesus says, "It's part of my plan!"
You would not understand the reasons behind it, even if He were to explain it, until you have walked through it.
Trust Him!
There really is no other choice, but you will be glad you did, and soon!
