A PACIFYING LIFE CONTENT WITH ANYTHING
SETTLING - May you remember that settling is not the same as surrendering. Sometimes we suffer enough life-blows that it takes the wind right out of our sails. We've settled because we've stopped dreaming!
To settle into your circumstances is to give up hope that things will ever change. To Settle is to lose sight of the promise written over your life; it's to lose sight of God's activity in your midst.
YIELDING YOUR LIFE TO SOMETHING MORE
SURRENDERING - To surrender, on the other hand, is to look to the One who holds the stars in place, and to trust Him to do what only He can do. To surrender is to believe that God cares, listens, and moves on every act prompted by your faith.
When you surrender to God in your circumstances, you embrace forward moving faith while trusting God in the now. Jesus wants to breathe fresh life into your sails!
Our Lord intends to impart fresh dreams to your soul. He's all about renewal, refreshment and redemption.
SETTLING-vs-SURRENDERING
Don't Settle! Surrender it all to the Lord and keep believing for your miracles! The more we surrender to God, the greater our ability to see God's hand in our lives!
When we surrender to God, we let go of our attachment to how things happen on the outside, and we become more concerned with what happens on the inside!
MY PRAYER FOR EACH OF US
I pray that when we feel like giving in or settling into the present place that we are in... that the Lord will lift us up through our surrendering every detail of our lives into His hands... the good, the not so good... and the worst of our days... we surrender them ALL to You Lord Jesus! We are trusting Your plan for our lives and placing all of our hopes in Your hands. Amen.
DO YOU HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS
When you surrender your life to Jesus, believing in Him, believe that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified to redeem each of us (because we all have sinned), and rose again on the third day, you can come to Him with this simple prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God and that you died for my sins, I ask you to please forgive me and come into my life right now. May your Holy Spirit help me to live and surrender my all to you. I thank you for redeeming me, coming into my life, and giving me eternal life with You someday. Amen.
