DON'T LOOK OR TURN BACK
There is a story of a famous battle where the General ordered the destruction of his ships so that his army wouldn't turn back when fear struck them. Once the military realized they had no ships to return to, they knew they had to go forward and fight all the way.
KEEP MOVING ON
We all need to have that same attitude. When we go forward in Christ Jesus, we have nothing to lose.
God commanded the people of Israel to go forward through the Red Sea. They had no alternative, mountains on one side, the Red Sea on the other, and the Egyptians with Pharoah's army behind them.
MOVE FORWARD IN FAITH
Had they retreated, they would have faced certain death. In the same way, you have to enter the battlefield to win. David ran toward Goliath in the name of the Lord.
God wants people who have nothing to lose. Burn your ships and bridges to the past, and move forward in faith and love through the Spirit of God.
NO DOUBTING
Whenever you doubt how far you can go, remember how far you have come with Jesus by your side. Remember all the battles you have won and all the fears you have overcome!
You can do this!
Focus on one thing--what lies ahead--eternity with Jesus!
TODAY: Burn any bridges leading to your past and be fearless and focused on the Kingdom of God ahead of you. PRESS ON!
