THE BEACH SCENE
I love the ocean and the beach; I only go sometimes for many reasons. One reason is Lupus and other autoimmune diseases that I don't do well with in the sunlight.
NO COMPROMISE
Please, don't get me wrong, but my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is the real author behind my blog. And lately, He has laid a topic on my mind that will probably lose me five thousand readers or more, but my loyalty is to God!
WHERE ARE MODESTY AND PURITY
In talking with people on the beach or just, out and about many state they are Christians, yet you can't tell because they don't stand out as peculiar people.
I'm not talking to the Non-Believer or non-Christian; I'm talking to those of you who openly profess that you are living for Christ Jesus.
Clothing has become bare, scant, and scarce, and I see more than I care to on most people! The young girls and women wear the same string bikinis and thong bikinis, and even the men wear their Speedo endurance briefs.
So how do they represent a Godly and Holy Believer in
Christ Jesus??
GOD'S WORD IS CLEAR
What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
1 CORINTHIANS 6:19-20
My friend Jesus will return; how will you explain your attire?? The beach isn't the only place where clothing is explicit!
TAKE THE HIGH ROAD
Your heavenly reward could never compare to any earthly gain from wearing "skimpy" clothing. Take the high road and follow Jesus; I promise you won't be disappointed!
If we truly love Christ and are thankful he died on the cross for "OUR SIN," it's time we live as we ought to with no compromises!
