Like many of you... my life's journey has not been an easy one. There have been many injustices and violations that have caused deep physical and mental pain. However... I can honestly say that if Jesus Christ not been introduced to me at a very young age, I might not be here today. I have found a depth of His love that I would not exchange for anything this world could offer me. So while I would not advocate my life experiences... I am thankful for where they have taken me.
When life's hurt become such that they overwhelm me or when I can't seem to even pray... Jesus takes my hand and leads me to that "secret place" under the shadow of the Almighty. Jesus is truly my covering and my shelter through the "thunderstorms of life!" It is in that unseen place that I find peace and joy beyond my understanding or explanation. I am warm and huddled closely to my savior... it is there I am truly content!
