You might have noticed I did not blog over the weekend. My husband and I went to the Gaither Homecoming Fest 2012, in Myrtle Beach. It had been so long since I was able to go somewhere besides the doctors office or hospital for tests.
I might have overdone it a little bit as I feel the aches in my body... but I am still singing the praises of my King! The weather was beautiful... our days were filled with warm sunshine and cool evening breezes! The music was grand... the presence of the Lord filled the auditorium and my heart. Oh, how I love being with God's people and feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit!
I heard a few people call it a "great show"... and "good entertainment"... but that is not how I viewed it, not even for one moment. If you knew Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior... you were ushered into His sweet presence to bask in His peace and His joy.
I am so thankful that I was able to attend the concerts on both Friday and Saturday nights. During the day on Saturday, Don and I rode our bikes near the ocean. After that however, I had to rest. Over all... it was a wonderful three day weekend and I feel so blessed to have been able to attend. A great big thank you to my husband for arranging it all!!!
