But the Comforter,
which is the Holy Ghost whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all
things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said
unto you.
John 14:26
PRAYERS FOR PEACE
IN OUR TURMOIL
A PURPOSE FOR OUR SUFFERING
God does have a purpose for our suffering and until we
accept that as fact in our hearts and souls, we will never
know the Peace of God! In our most trying times and "in our deepest sufferings we must recognize that God has permitted our trials and adversities for one reason... and that one
reason is... His Marvelous Purpose!!"
Still, we ask and we want to know what possible, marvelous purpose could there be in such miseries? Oh, my friend... "take joy in what is being prepared and what lies ahead for you!"
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be
revealed in us.
ROMANS 8:18
LOOKING AHEAD
Set your sights on an "unimaginable resting place" centered
in the Holy Spirit. A place of "Well-Being and Victory" for a
hungering and hurting people.
Yes! There is a place of healing, peace and comfort that the church has neglected to bolster. A place where those who are anguishing, can take rest and find a soft cushion for their heartaches!
A FORGOTTEN HIDING PLACE
We have forgotten this hiding place... we have neglected the passion and tenderness given us... and we have lost touch with the "comforter" that Jesus promised would remain with us, until His return, that is the "HOLY SPIRIT!"
My friend, as we learn to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit, his presence will bring a sense of peace and joy. "He alone" can take our darkest night and turn it into a brilliant new day of light and hope!
A PROMISE FROM JESUS
Jesus told of this promise while He was still with us. He said, "The Holy Spirit, whom the Father would send at His request, would make it plain to us." The Holy Spirit would be a reminder.. a parting gift to us, "Our Lord's Peace!"
Take heart, Jesus did not abandon us! Don't get upset, don't be agitated or anxious. "Be calmed... be anchored... be blessed" as you rest in the heart of God's promise... the Holy Spirit!!
There is "PEACE" to be found... in the midst of your turmoil!!
