Hebrews 9:11
Do you still have moments... where the guilt of your past sins overtake your thinking? Do you sit and stew... wondering if God really has forgiven you? Does this very thought process keep you from living a victorious life?? If so... take some time to read and truly meditate on Gods Word. Read Hebrews 9:11-14 daily... until you know... that you know that Christ was and is the Perfect Sacrafice.
Christ Jesus... with His own blood...not the blood of goats and calves... entered the most holy place once for all time and secured our redemption forever. Under the old system, the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a young cow would cleanse peoples bodies from ceremonial defilement and impurity. Now instead... think how much more the blood of Christ has freed and redeemed our consciences from ALL our sinful deeds. We can now praise and worship our living God freely and fully... knowing Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins!
If you are living your life in the spirit... and not the flesh... if you are seeking to know more of God daily... well then there is no need to let our thinking take us down the guilt path. We must remember that God knows our hearts... He looks on the inside... He knows our motives. We can not allow satan to steal what is freely ours. Gods Living Word tells us plainly...The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10
So... proclaim your life in Christ! Let yourself live abundanly on these truths; I am a child of God... (John 1:12) I am forgiven... I have been washed in the blood... (Revelation 1:5) I have been justified and redeemed...(Romans 3:24) I am no longer a slave to sin, but a child and an heir (Galatians 4:7) my old self was crucified with Christ, I am no longer a slave to sin... (Romans 6:6) I am a new creature in Christ... (2 Corinthians 5:17) I have been set free in Christ...(Galatians 5:1) I am blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places...(Ephesians 1:3) and because of Gods mercy and love, I have been made alive with Christ...(Ephesians 2:4,5) I am seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus...(Ephesians 2:6) I am chosen, holy and blameless before God...(Colossians 3:12) I have been sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise..(Ephesians 1:13)And... the peace of God guards my heart and mind.(Philippians 4:7)
There is nothing more for you to do... Jesus did in once... for all who will believe. So today... go and live the victorius life that God prepared for you!
