Today is not one of my better days, each move comes with excessive pain, especially as I tried to sit up and get out of bed. Still my Lord is absolutely sovereign and in these days He alone becomes my strength, He lifts me up into heavenly places and I am blessed!
My strength is insufficient to make it through the day, but my Heavenly Father assures me I will climb these mountains and be joyfully blessed... simply because I am His beloved. Sadly, when I look down from the mountain tops I see there are far more souls who are worse off than I am, so I look to God and simply say, "Thank You Lord!"
I will sing to my Lord and when my energy shuts down, I will turn to Him and He will supply for all of my needs as I sit wondrously and marvelously in His presence! These days may be hard, but they cannot compare to the delight and comfort I find in my Lord.
My friends I ask you, "How are you today? Are you hurting, are you feeling down and depressed? Are you longing for your joy to be restored? If you are having a "down day", look to the Lord your God and choose to let Him guide you through the tough times.
You will be lifted up into heavenly places as you keep your focus on Jesus, and as you let His Holy Word sink into your heart and soul, you will find a refreshing like none other. Look to His Wonderful Words: (there are so many more than I've listed)
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:29-31 (KJV)
My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word. Psalm 119:28 (NIV)
But you, Lord, do not be far from me. You are my strength; come quickly to help me. Psalm 22:19 (NIV)
