name, O most high... Psalm 92:1
There are days when I look around me and I am amazed at how blessed I am.
I don't even know how to accurately or
properly say, "Thank you, Lord Jesus".
Yet... I know that the Lord hears my feeble attempts and He continues to bless me, in that while I am still praying His joy begins to overflow within me. I am not a morning person... but today I woke up at 7:00am... so I decided to just sit at my piano to sing and to talk to the Lord. As I started to offer up my prayers... I began thanking God for ALL the blessings around me. Once again I was in awe, for truly... yes truly, I am so blessed!
Giving thanks is a good thing as the scripture states... nonetheless experience has taught me, 'not to fear... but to be aware,' because these are the very times satan tries to steal, kill and destroy any or all of my joy and my praises! You see... Jesus wants us to live our lives abundantly, filled with His peace and His grace. Yet, when we begin to experience those very things... satan steps in to steal them from us! God's Word tells us exactly that: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10
I am sharing this with you, in view of the fact... I don't want myself or anyone else to ever give up and not take time daily to praise and thank the Lord. This is the time we must press through those lies of satan... the times we must worship all the more. As we continue to honor the Lord... the Holy Spirit shines a light that dispells the darkness and the lies of satan are seen for just that... LIES!
So... if you haven't said, "Thank you, Lord Jesus," yet today... do it now because God is waiting to pour out His blessings on you!
