We speak so many negative things to ourselves... but I believe God wants us to speak the Truth of His Word into each of our hearts... minds and souls! For ALL the negative things we speak... God has a Positive Word for us to stand upon!! Here are just a few:
You say: "It's impossible!" ~ God says: "All things are possible!" Matthew 19:26
You say: "I am too tired!" ~ God says: "I will give you rest!" Matthew 11:28
You say: "I have no strength" ~ God says: "I will renew your strength!" Isaiah 40:31
You say: "Nobody really loves me!" ~ God says: "I love you, I always will." John 3:16
You say: "I can't go on!" ~ God says: "My Grace is sufficient." 2 Corinthians 12:9
You say: "I can't figure things out!" ~ God says: "I will direct your steps!" Prov. 16:9

For many years... my thoughts were the battlefield of my mind. I had learned to literally hate myself... because of the thoughts I was thinking. I didn't think I could love or be loved... I didn't think I had any worth... I just didn't think... PERIOD! I had let Satan take possession of my thoughts... and it nearly killed me.
I have since learned... that once I accepted Christ... and gave Him complete control of my life... that I needed to think about myself... the way God thought of me. I needed to learn His Word... so that I could turn to it the moment negative thoughts tried to flood my mind. I have learned that only Jesus can keep me from falling back into the confused state I once lived in. I lean on Him daily... in doing so... I have found the joy and peace I once lacked!
If you are constantly thinking negative thoughts about who you are... or if you feel that you are lost and alone... I urge you to turn to God. He loved us while we were still sinners and He sent His son to die... not only for our sin... but for the pain of our past. Christ Jesus wants us to rejoice in who we are in Him! His Word tells us: But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
If you know Jesus as your Savior... and you are still thinking negative thoughts... You need to learn what the Word of God says about you! You CAN live a life... filled with the love and joy of Jesus!
If you do not know Jesus as your personal Savior.... I would urge you to give your future to Him... He will never disappoint you. JUST AS EVERY SAINT HAS A PAST... EVERY SINNER HAS A FUTURE!
