The true church of Jesus Christ has been a mainstay and a vital element in America for decades... but, sadly and slowly our ideals, our moral and spiritual values have changed... and not for the better. The American family not only attends church less, but they have become "more tolerant" to what the world has to offer.
Technology while good... has provided and equipped, both the young and old to view most anything that goes on in this world and at a moments notice. You add this to the vast materialistic attitudes, lack of moral values and a growing antagonism towards God, His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and you will find the church has dramatically changed just in my lifetime alone.
A new point of view, which is really an "Old trick of Satan himself" is "I am the god of my life" and the "I want what I want syndrome!" The Bible clearly and plainly states, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride in one's lifestyle
is NOT from God our Father, but is from worldly perspectives!!
It's Satan's Old Tricks as He Writes A New Moral Code:
Barna President, David Kinnaman contends that research indicates a new brand of morality has evolved in America. He insists that Christianity has for the most part been removed as the cultures’ moral norm and replaced with a new moral code, which he says consists of six tenets:

We as Christians are not made to love ourselves or the ways of this world, nor are we to love worldly possessions, for these things choke and suffocate the true love of God our Father! Almost everything in this world is here to deceive and distort our views of the Lord Jesus Christ and His work on the Cross!
The world would say to us, "I am most important in my life, I want to live my way and I want it all for myself" this kind of philosophy of life has NOTHING to do with the love of God our Father or His Son Jesus Christ who bore our sins, sorrowfully it just isolates us from Him!
We as Christians just might find ourselves on what I call, "Christianity Life Support," when and if we find ourselves attending church less often, canceling church services because of low attendance, unable or unwilling to pray, praise or worship the one true God and His Son Jesus Christ!
It is time to get off of Life Support and live as Christ intended us to live; the Bible clearly states; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God! 1 Peter 4:2
Jesus prayed earnestly, was beaten relentlessly and died on the cross for everything we have gone through, everything we are going through... and more! Our sufferings here on earth... are to help us be weaned from old sinful habits, and the expectation to live life the way we want, instead of what Christ would have us to be!
It's TIME to get off of "Christianity Life Support" and strive to live out our days freely... pursuing what God wants instead of being downtrodden and a slave to what we want!! NOW is the day of SALVATION... NOW is NOT the time for the church to RETREAT!!
