WHAT IS THE PURPOSE THAT IS DRIVING US
We are so very busy about our lives that we seem to forget the purpose behind them. Driven by the demands of life we fail to recognize that God always has a greater purpose for our lives.
Friends, if we are spending just 37 minutes of quality time with our families, how much time are we truly spending with the Lord each day? Do we actually have any time to reach out to others, to read God's Word, or to pray?
Our life purposes not only encompass our lives, but the lives of those around us -- at home, school, work, and community. We must ask ourselves the HARD QUESTIONS!! Are those around us able to even see Christ in us? Do our children see Christ in us and in our homes?
WHEN LIFE SEEMS HOPELESS
So what have we lost in the generations since they have outlasted their moral clarity? Sadly the answer is discouraging to say the least!
It seems we have lost our longing, our dreaming and our faith -- Friends we have LOST OUR TRUEST HOPE!
REESTABLISHING OUR PURPOSE
We will only find purpose when we reorient our understanding of time and devote our limited days to that which is ultimately important, meaningful and satisfying, seizing the freedom Christ has given us to live an abundant life!
Pursuing Jesus Christ in order to live an abundant life is exactly what life is truly all about. Without Christ, there is no purpose or true meaning in living. The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. JOHN 10:10
OUR PURPOSE IS FOUND IN CHRIST ALONE
With Christ, life is full of meaning, value, and HOPE! Paul had such a purpose that gave direction and meaning in all of his life. He said, "I press towards the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus!" PHILIPPIANS 3:14
As we seek after the things of Christ Jesus, we will find new purpose, meaning, and direction in life. We find real living when reclaim our purpose by following Jesus Christ!
TIME TO RECLAIM YOUR TRUE PURPOSE!!
People will wear themselves out in efforts to make and fulfill their life situations, we need to realize that God understands our needs! And we must not confuse our NEEDS with our DESIRES -- thus allowing God to still ultimately accomplish His plans for us.
Once God has established His purposes in our lives -- no one can change it. What door God has shut, no man can open and what door God has opened, no man can shut.
GOD'S PURPOSE IS THE ONE THAT LASTS
We are but a vapor; still God's purposes can be fulfilled! We can make our plans, set out to accomplish them, but if we don't take time to pray and seek God's direction we may find ourselves still struggling to keep our heads above water.
Each and every day our plans must begin and end with God first in our thoughts and our way of doing things, if we are to truly know his purpose for our lives.
Will you give your "Life Plans" over to God today? It truly is the only way to find your real PURPOSE in life!
