He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. PROVERBS 25:28
LISTENING TO THE WILL OF GOD FOR US

RISK FACTORS
Risk factors for juvenile delinquency include early antisocial behavior, abuse, exposure to violence, lack of parental involvement, lack of success in school and criminal behavior.
A person without self-control is like a house that has had its doors and windows knocked out, this person is likened to a defenseless city with weakened and broken-down walls.
Early intervention along with positive relationships and activities can help counteract these negative tendencies.
SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINE
Just as the children need discipline to help them develop self-control and guide them to do right, we need discipline in our spiritual lives. If we make Bible study and prayer a priority each day, we will learn how to please the Lord.
We may need to make a Spiritual Discipline To Do List, Such As:
We all need PRAYER in our lives.
We all need PRAISE and WORSHIP.
We all need to CONFESS our Sins.
We all need to READ and STUDY God's Word.
We all need to make a joyful noise and SING to God.
We may need to JOURNAL about God.
We all need FASTING in our walk with God.
We need SOLITUDE with God.
We all need to SURRENDER ourselves into God's presence.
We all need to SUMMIT to God's Will.
We all need to WITNESS and SHARE the Lord Jesus.
We all need to GIVE to the Kingdom of God.
CHASTISEMENT
If we stray and go our own ways, we can expect divine chastening to point us back in the right direction. God our loving Father, shows us the way to achieve His purpose and plan for our lives through His Word.
Heavenly Father, show us Your will each day and help us to listen and obey.
