Having been a nurse, and having a strong LOVE for both medicine and for Christ Jesus, my Savior make my two versions of CPR quite meaningful and important to me!
1. "CARDIO PULMONARY RESUSCITATION" is known to most of us simply as CPR, and yet it is most extraordinary to see a sudden cardiac arrest (where the heart ceases to beat) commence beating totally on its own again! Many of us have even taken CPR classes for the Certification in order that they would be able to possibly give CPR and save a life!
Physical CPR has three critical components one must check for when attempting to give CPR; 1. AIRWAY - to look for an anatomical or mechanical obstruction of the air passage way; 2. BREATHING - mouth to mouth or mechanical animatedly existent; And finally 3. CIRCULATION - which is the blood flow to all parts of the body.
Restoration of ones heartbeat is both extraordinarily and breathtaking to say the least!!
AND...
2. "CHRIST PURCHASED REDEMPTION" Is known to the believer as salvation, purchased by Jesus Christ's death on the cross to cleanse us from our sins in order to give us eternal life!
It also has three components; 1. ADMISSION OF OUR SINS, God's Word states: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23 (KJV Take time to read it through verse 26) 2. BELIEVE IN REDEMPTION OF SIN or SALVATION; God's Word states: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 (KJV) And finally 3. CONSECRATION; which is our dedication to the service and worship of God! Once More God's Word States: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1 (KJV)
The bottom line PHYSICALLY is CPR works and we need more people to learn how to give it to those who suddenly have a heart attack.
Decisively, your ETERNITY depends on each believer's CPR also works in the believers heart, it cleanses us from sin, heals our bodies and saves our souls!
