LET'S NOT SETTLE ANY LONGER
May we always remember that settling is not the same as surrendering. Sometimes we suffer enough life-blows that it takes the wind right out of our sails.
We've settled because we've stopped hoping and believing the goodness of our Savior. To settle into your circumstances is to give up all hope that things will ever change.
To settle is to lose sight of the promises written over your life; it's to lose sight of God's activity in your midst!
INSTEAD MAY WE SURRENDER OUR ALL
To surrender, on the other hand, is to look to the one who holds the stars in place, and to trust Him to do what only He can do! To surrender is to believe that God cares for you, listens to your every prayer, and moves on every act prompted by your faith.
When you surrender to God in your circumstances, you embrace forward moving faith while trusting God in the now. Jesus wants to breathe the "breath of life" into your sails. He intends to impart fresh desires and beliefs to your soul.
GOD IS PATIENTLY WAITING
Our Lord Jesus is all about renewal, refreshment and redemption. Don't settle! Surrender it all to Him and keep believing for your miracles!
I pray that when we feel like giving in or settling into the present place we are in... that Jesus will lift us up through our complete surrendering of every detail of our lives into His hands... the good, the not so good... and the worst of our days.
Lord Jesus, we surrender our all to You... trusting Your perfect will and plan for our lives and placing all of our hopes in your hands. Amen.
