LIVING BY GODLY FACTS
You know, many Christians wish they are saved, think
they are saved, and hope they are saved. They still
doubt, as they are walking around and wondering,
"Am I really saved?"
Our behavior give us reason to wonder. We're strong
one day, and weak the next. Devoted one hour,
lagging the next. Believing, then unbelieving.
WHEN FEELINGS SNEAK IN
Conventional wisdom draws a line through the middle
of these fluctuations. Perform above this line and
enjoy God's acceptance. But dip below it and
"expect a pink slip from heaven."
And then, salvation becomes a matter of timing.
You are just left hopelessly and honestly pining...
hoping that you'll die or Jesus will return on
an upswing in your salvation.
LIVE BY JESUS' WORDS OF FAITH
Jesus' language couldn't be stronger. "And I give
unto them eternal life; and they shall never
perish, neither shall any man pluck them
out of my hand."
JOHN 10:28
So walk with Jesus and talk to Him Daily! Read His
love letters to us... get to know the Good Shepherd
and the fact that we belong to Him! We've been
sealed by the Holy Spirit, and literally
"MARKED AS HIS CHILD!"
Thank you Lord, as You help us to always
"HOLD FAST to the FACTS of YOUR HOLY WORD
and NOT OUR FEELINGS" as we walk with YOU!
Help us to serve you, to guard our hearts, to walk
closer to you each day and to "live for you, in the
light of Your love for us!"
