I've heard from so many of you who are embittered by the way your life is bound. You may feel segregated from others inwardly even though you may not be physically apart.
It may be hard to concede, but Christians are not immune to suffering. Still, occasionally our adversities make us contemplate "Why does a faithful, benevolent, and all-powerful God allow misery?"
Have you ever pondered, "Why God, when You have the power to stop my struggles -- you haven't? I must admit, I have!
Some of Satan's most compelling and persuasive lies are, "Why do you continue to trust a God who would permit so much pain and suffering? You came to God reasoning your life would be chock-full of His blessings, but where are those gifts now??"
Don't allow yourself to fall for these deceptions, not even for a moment! You may not know what to do or where to turn, but God unquestionably does!
We may be spiritually terrorized, but God still walks alongside us and His Holy Spirit lives within us. We may feel beaten and battered, but we are not defeated!
Our strength is in Christ Jesus and He will not fail us.
OFFERING PRAISE AND THANKS
When you don't know what to do -- Praise Him! When you don't know where to turn -- Thank Him! Your relationship with Christ develops powerfully through your adoration and thanksgiving!
Although our hardships may seem devastating, we are showing forth the power of Jesus Christ within our fading bodies. Jesus LIVES within us and whilst it may seem we are going through the terrors of life... we are inevitably securing the best of it.
WHAT GOD SPEAKS
God's Word says, "Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 2 CORINTHIANS 4:10
These bodies of ours are invariably facing death just as Jesus did; so it is clear to all that is only the Living Christ within us that sustains us!
Yes, we may live under unrelenting pain and torment, but this gives us continual opportunities to show forth the "Power of Jesus Christ within our decaying bodies!" When we face death in front of us -- Believers can say it results in "Eternal Life" for us!
WE HAVE THIS CONFIDENCE
We have the assurance that the same God who brought the Lord Jesus back from death will also deliver us back to life again with Jesus. These heartaches of ours are for our prosperity.
My friends, I know what living in chronic pain is. I face it on an everyday basis and although my body grows weary, my spirit is bolstered and strengthened through the power of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
SAVOR GOD'S LOVE
Corrie ten Boom once said, "There is no pit so deep, that God's love not deeper still." I am still just learning to revel in God's love.
I want to flourish and rejoice in God's love so thoroughly that it will be ALL that is meaningful to me!
God's love is enough -- in fact, it is more than enough! I intend to nestle into God and stay unconditionally in Him!
What about you?
