which I have committed unto him against that day.
2 Timothy 1:12
Don and I spent some time at the Carolinas Hospital these past two weeks, where I underwent more tests. Tuesday, we spent six hours which was exhausting and I wasn't sure I would make it home! Still, God's Grace sustains us, doesn't it?
I am so thankful for the prayers of God's people, for I know many were answered!! We have received some results from the tests I had and I have shared some of them below.
The GOOD NEWS: the brain tumor I had in the frontal lobe "looks like it is drying up and withering away, almost unnoticeable and undetectable." The doctors words not mine!! PRAISE GOD!!! He is so good! There are no words to describe my feelings!
The NOT SO GOOD NEWS: My auto-immune diseases continue to progress. The MRI showed my cervical spine is now completely straight... where there should be a curve to it. This is causing a lot of my pain. I also have some pinched nerves and degenerative disk disease.
Because the cervical spine has no curve, the nerves are being compressed, which causes inflammation and pain. Needless to say, the pressure and pain within my brain has been horrible. The doctor put me on a topical NSAID this time, in the hopes that it will by-pass the stomach, so I won't have any internal bleeding this time. He also ordered physical therapy to try and get some of the pain under control.
THE GREATEST NEWS: Jesus is my main physician and I trust Him completely!! He is able to do so much more than I could even ask.
I would ask that you please, continue to pray for me. I seem to be in a vicious cycle of "lots of pain and no sleep!" The pain has been so tremendous, it makes movement very difficult at times. I need your prayers, I covet your prayers! The pain and endless hours of lying awake at night, are wearing me down.... but I will never give up!! I know whom I have believed in and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I've committed unto Him against that day! 2 Timothy 1:12
