A HEART AT REST
May you respond to Jesus' invitation to come away and rest for a while? May ALL anxious thoughts be placed in His hands as you relax in Him! A heart like Jesus' is full of mercy, grace, and compassion!
May you determine to stop your straining and striving and remember once again that HE is God and that He holds your hand. May His grace abound in your life so that others can see firsthand what a heart at rest looks like.
LEANING ON JESUS
May our lives produce abundant fruit simply because we have connected intimately to the vine. Help us to unwind from today's world and live in and for Jesus alone! O, to have a heart like Jesus'!
Live by faith in God's love for you and keep yourself at the foot of the cross. The cross will provide and maintain a Heart-At-Rest in Jesus!
MY PRAYER TODAY
Lord Jesus, there are times when we are in a waiting period that our hearts grow restless and anxious. Please pour your peace upon us and give whatever is needed to have a HEART AT REST this day and throughout the coming days.
Bring rest to our eyes and slumber to our bodies, mind, and spirit. Only our faith in Jesus and our knees at the cross will provide the necessary peace we crave.
I pray and ask in Jesus' precious name. Amen.
